FAQ

What time should I arrive?

If you are camping and want to arrive before the crowds, Camp Watershed opens at 3:00pm on Thursday, July 31st.

If you choose to arrive on Friday, leave yourself plenty of time and anticipate some hold ups.

The festival gates will open each day at 1pm Friday- Sunday.

Check wsdot.wa.gov for highway traffic information.

What time do the shows end each day?

Festivities on Friday and Saturday will take place until about 12:30am.

The show will end Sunday at approximately 11:15pm.

These times may change a little.

What will the weather be like?

Average highs are 90F and average lows around 60F that time of year.

Typically it is hot & sunny with a nice steady breeze.

Check the forecast before you leave and stake that tent down properly, we get a good gust of wind out there every so often.

Sunscreen, sunscreen, sunscreen!

Can I come on site and sell stuff?

No, only approved and licensed vendors are allowed inside the Gorge or Camp Watershed.

EMAIL us for availability information.

Is there any public transportation to the Gorge?

Unfortunately not, the nearest Greyhound stop is about 14 miles away in Quincy and Amtrak stops in Wenatchee 45 miles from the venue.

There is a cool little flight from SEATAC to Wenatchee, where there are a couple of rental car options at Pangborn Airport.

I don’t want to camp. Can I park for the day?

Yes you can, and there is no extra charge.

Can I bring my boat?

Because of the damage to the Wanapum Dam, the Columbia River between Rock Island Dam and Wanapum Dam is being drawn down. We have been advised at this time that it is unlikely that river levels will be back to normal this year meaning that all boat launches in that stretch of water, which would include Vantage, Sunland and Crescent Bar, potentially will not be open this summer.

For the latest information, patrons should check  grantpud.org/community/rec-area-maps

I bought the three day ticket and only received one ticket, how does it get me in all three days?

When you arrive at the Gorge, you will need to exchange your three day ticket for a wristband.

This wristband will allow you access to and from the festival.

Take good care of it – we cannot replace lost wristbands.

What happens if I lose or break my wristband?

Don’t lose or break it.

Wristbands that have been tampered with or removed will be void.

Lost wristbands cannot be replaced.

Can I slide my wristband off and give it to my friend to use?

No, your wristband needs to be on tight enough that it does not slide off.

My tickets will be at will call. Where is that?

Will call is at the Box Office located just north of the Gorge main entrance.

Box Office hours will be Friday-Sunday 11am-10pm

Can I use my credit cards to buy tickets at the box office?

If tickets are still available, we will gladly accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express.

I saw someone selling print at home tickets on Craigslist. Are they legit?

Nope, there are no print at home options for this show.

Be really careful buying anywhere other than the official Ticketmaster website or Ticketmaster outlets, we see far too many forgeries and bad tickets, and they will not get you into the Festival.

Do I have to pay for kids to get in?

Children age 2 and under are free.

Do you sell alcohol?

Yes we do, make sure you have a Washington State approved valid picture ID.

Not sure if you have an acceptable form of ID?

Check here: liq.wa.gov

Can I bring my own food and drink?

You can bring one 20oz factory sealed bottle of water and a small (1 gallon) clear bag of

snacks.

So is that a “No” to bringing in a cooler then?

That would be a no.

I have small children, can I bring a stroller?

Yes you can, though the stroller will be subject to a search.

You’d be surprised what people try to hide behind the kid!

Can I bring in my medical prescription, such as Diabetic insulin?

You can, but please advise the security guard at the gate and they will call the medics, who will assist you.

Can I bring marijuana in?

Recent changes to WA state law regarding marijuana are a little confusing, but the law clearly states that the use and even the display of marijuana in public is still illegal.

Please respect & obey the law. We will not be permitting marijuana into the Amphitheatre.

Why can’t I bring an umbrella in?

It pokes people’s eyes out and obscures the view of the person behind you.

What is the restroom situation?

For the most part, only port-a-johns are available.

There are hand wash facilities adjacent to the Honey Buckets.

If you are lucky enough to have a VIP ticket, the Cliff House VIP club has good old flushing restrooms.

Do you have ATMs?

Yes, we do.

Is there a first aid station?

Yes, ask any staff member and they will point you in the right direction.

Can I buy sunscreen there?

You can find sunscreen and other little necessities at both the General Store at the campground and in the Gorge venue store.
